NYLC Supply is an up and coming clothing brand based in the UK. On April 20th and 21st, they will be hosting a pop-up shop event on Shoreditch’s Rivington Street, bringing a load of the country’s best independent brands and writing teams with them.
Amongst those present at the event will be Burtonwode, whose top-tier boxer shorts have enjoyed a great response over the past 12 months. Furthermore, Lowdtown’s mix of hand-illustrated t-shirts & cut ’n’ sew pieces, Parlez Clothing’s slick nautical collection and The Daily Street’s ‘Best British Menswear Brand’ of 2012, Enclave Apparel, will also be present in full. A quick look at their websites shows some really promising work, and I’m looking forward to checking many of them out for the first time in person.
Edward Li’s street-smart Victate London will also be appearing on the rails, giving us a great chance to look at their recent exploits up close, including a pair of Japanese selvedge denim and some impressive constructed shirting. In the magazine department, an appearance from John Holt’s excellent LAW Magazine, off the back of a successful 3rd issue launch, alongside Prototype, Boat, Justified and The Gourmand places the store in good stead for quality publications.
All the details are laid out in the flyer below. You can find all of the brands listed with a quick Google search, and they’re all worth a look to whet your appetite. I, myself, was already familiar with Enclave and Victate, but a few minutes on Parlez and Justified’s websites tells me I’ll definitely be wondering their way on the day. Click through for the Facebook Event to make sure you don’t forget.
